The Royal Cornwall Show 2024

Every year, for 3 days in June, the best in entertainment, agriculture, shopping and competition can be found at the Royal Cornwall Show.

Whether your visit is for business or pleasure, you’ll be enjoying everything Cornwall has to offer. Since 1793 we have been showcasing the best in Cornish agriculture, and supporting the industry to thrive and innovate.
As one of the top agricultural shows in the country, we have the highest level of competition across our hundreds of classes, our competitors competing for a coveted Royal Cornwall prize. The Royal Cornwall Show not only provides a platform for farmers and producers to exhibit their work but also serves as a vibrant social gathering, highlighting Cornwall's rich cultural heritage and community spirit.

Entertainment

Entertainment is a key component of the Royal Cornwall Show, with a packed schedule that includes live music performances, a vintage fairground, and thrilling displays such as motorcycle stunt shows and falconry demonstrations. The event also caters to younger visitors with dedicated children's activities and educational exhibits designed to inspire the next generation of farmers and agriculturists.

Local community

The Royal Cornwall Show is more than just an agricultural showcase; it is a vibrant celebration of Cornish culture and community, drawing people from all walks of life to experience the best that the county has to offer. The event plays a crucial role in supporting the local economy, providing a platform for businesses to reach new audiences, and fostering a sense of pride and unity among the residents of Cornwall.

Venue: Market Hall

Next Date: Sun 16th Jun | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

When their home reef is destroyed by a fishing trawler, three brave fish set out on a quest across the vastly polluted ocean to find the “Enchanted Reef” – a mythical underwater haven free from humans…

The lively perciform Shorty, his smart sister Indigo and Jake, a daring sawfish, thrive in a bustling and colourful coral reef. One day, out of nothing, an enormous trawl devastates their reef. Our three heroes survive this cataclysm only with a great deal of luck. They are forced to leave their destroyed habitat and go on a search for a new and safe home.

“Legend of the Enchanted Reef” is an imaginative and humorous, as well as exciting and touching animated movie for the whole family: the quest of three lovable characters for a safe home reveals the moving beauty of the seas but also their endangerment through massive human impact.

The story combines entertaining and educative elements into a sustainable message about the great importance of our oceans.
